About Us

White Fire Designs was founded in early 2009 by graphic designer Becki Sneap and web developer/evangelist Joe Buckle. Between us we have 12 years of experience in web and graphic design. The design world, like the business you are involved in, is fiercely competitive as you are probably finding out. Many clients buy on price, because 'below-the-line' costs eat into profit. And we are, whether we like it or not, a below-the-line cost. But we don't see our contribution to your business as a cost. It's an asset. What we do enhances the value of your product, therefore your company. Our designs can make the difference between a 'sale' and a 'no sale', between success and failure. It's a big responsibility and we take it very seriously. At the same time, we know you don't have a bottomless purse, so we are happy to share our commitment with you.

We don't charge for working up proposals.

Becki Sneap

(Designer)

Becki Sneap gained an HND in Graphic Design at Salisbury college in 2004. She worked as a freelance graphic designer for 4 years and then 3 further years art working for print technologies in London and the Home Counties. Becki's client list includes some of the country's major manufacturing, financial services and telecoms organisations.

Joe Buckle

(Web Developer)

Joe Buckle has spent the last 6 years working as a front end web developer, including a spell as a web 'evangelist', consulting for Microsoft on appropriate web technologies for corporate applications. As a Certified Internet Webmaster, Joe is fully capable of programming and designing web-based products, including server side web techniques like complex database design and management.

Rupert Kirkham

(Copywriter)

Rupert Kirkham is a scriptwriter, event manager, video and radio producer based in the Bath area. Since 1980, Rupert has made over 900 video and broadcast tv programmes for promotional, training and entertainment purposes and has commissioned many graphic design projects, written countless numbers of scripts and proposals and managed massive multimedia projects for some of the world's biggest companies. Rupert has copy-written the text for and contributed to the design of many websites for UK and overseas clients. "I particularly enjoy this side of my work," says Rupert, "It gives me a chance to get to the root of a client's business proposition and offer another perspective. Sometimes you get too close to your business to be able to see the wood for the trees."
